RIALTO – (INT) – The California Highway Patrol says two women and a man who perished in a fiery July 28th car crash on the 210 freeway in Rialto were from Victorville.

A gofund.me.com webpage identified the victims as Maria Concepcion Ortiz De Santiago, 57; Jacqueline Alexandra Banuelos, 19, and Steven Banuelos Ortiz, age 18.

Investigators say the driver veered across several westbound lanes and appeared to lose control causing the vehicle to leave the freeway and crash into a tree. All three occupants were ejected from the vehicle before it caught fire. They were declared dead at the scene near North Pepper Avenue. It wasn’t clear who was driving.

The family said they were enroute home from a catering event.
