Clerical error figures in candidate filings INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Five candidates for municipal offices in several San Bernardino County cities have been informed they did not qualify for the November election.
The County Registrar of Voters reevaluated petitions of eight potential candidates who believed they qualified. Those who did not were informed and told about a clerical error. Any legal challenges must be resolved by August 29th. The potential candidates had filed nomination papers in Highland, Rialto, Hesperia, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Twentynine Palms and Apple Valley.
