Are weeks of falling gasoline prices over?
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – As Southern Californians wind-up their summer road trips, gasoline prices may have ended their extended decline.

Pump prices have risen slightly but are still well below this time last year.

In Riverside, the average per-gallon price is $4.45, which is one cent higher than the previous week and 81 cents lower than a year ago.

The California average is $4.62 a gallon.

“Last year at this time, the state was on the verge of a supply issue that drove up prices to near-record levels in September and October,” said Auto Club spokesperson Doug Shupe. “Fortunately, that does not appear to be happening this year,” he said.
