Is the Inland Empire a good place to retire? INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Four of the Inland Empire’s largest cities are at the bottom of a list of best communities to retire.
WalletHub compared the retirement-friendliness of 182 cities evaluating 45 key metrics ranging from cost of living and tax laws to the availability of activities and the quality of health care. Near the bottom of the list are Moreno Valley, Ontario, Riverside and Fontana. Ranked among the best cities to retire are four in Florida led by Orlando. With cost being a significant factor in retirement, WalletHub’s analysis assumes retirees will rely on a fixed income. The lower their expenses, the better retirees will fare in a particular city.
