INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - There’s something for everyone on the 5-day weather menu.

KEY POINTS
• Chance of light rain through Friday. Slight chance of isolated thunderstorms from the IE to the high desert on Friday. Gusty west winds in the mountain passes and deserts.
• Below average temperatures through Friday.
• Summer-like temperatures return for Sunday and Monday.

The closing days of the Summer of ’24 is putting Southern Californians on a roller coaster.
A low pressure system Friday will get the boot by a ridge taking over this weekend into the middle of next week.

A cold front associated with an unseasonably strong storm system will impact the Southland. There is a chance of light rain through Friday morning for all areas except the deserts.

As fair weather high pressure builds into the weekend, temperatures will increase from 10-15 degrees below average on Friday to 5-10 degrees above average by Monday.

An Air Quality Alert in the mountain fire zones will be lifted later Thursday.
