BIG BEAR – (INT) – State highways through the fire zones in the San Bernardino Mountains have reopened.

They include Route 38 through Redlands and Highway 18 from San Bernardino and on the desert side through Lucerne Valley.

The reopenings clear the way to the 54th Annual Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest.

Still being cleared is Route 2 into the Angeles National Forest. Fallen trees and utility poles are being removed from surface streets in Wrightwood.
