INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – With just weeks before voters make their choices, a new poll shows enthusiasm among Democrats in the Inland Empire’s 41st District is the highest of any congressional district in California.

A team of pollsters from the University of Southern California, CSU Long Beach, and Cal Poly Pomona also found that Democrat Will Rollins and Republican incumbent Ken Calvert are in a virtual tie. It comes as Rollins releases a flurry of commercials on Los Angeles television and Calvert follows suit.

Rollins charges that “Ken Calvert has used taxpayer dollars to increase the value of his own properties, increase his own net worth by up to $20 million, and find himself on the list of most corrupt members of Congress.”

Calvert has racked up 32 years in Congress.
