Inland Empire job market posts gains, losses INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Unemployment across the Inland Empire took a 6-tenths-of-a-percent drop in September while the number of people employed surged.
The state Employment Development Department (EDD) estimated that nearly 2-million-74 thousand were working – the highest of the year. At the same time in September, 118-thousand were looking for work across Riverside and San Bernardino counties. The EDD reported Friday (October 18th) private education and health services gained the most jobs over the past 12 months. Government also experienced big gains.
