INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Democrat Will Rollins has jumped off with an early lead to unseat veteran Riverside County Congressman Ken Calvert.

Rollins was up 52% to Calvert’s 48% of the ballots counted. Calvert has spent 32 years in Congress.

Other Inland Empire congressional incumbents with comfortable initial leads are Raul Ruiz, Mark Takano, Darrell Issa, Jay Obernolte, Pete Aguilar and Norma Torres who had 57% of the vote that was cast in the San Bernardino County portion of the 35th Congressional District.
