Uncounted ballots may decide Calvert-Rollins Congressional race ![]() RIVERSIDE – (INT) – In the hotly contested 41st Congressional District of Riverside County, Republican Ken Calvert holds a narrow lead over Democratic challenger Will Rollins.
Rollins jumped out to a lead in the early counting but trails Calvert by 7-tenths of a percent. The scenario is a repeat of their last face-off in 2022. Calvert is the Inland Empire’s senior member in Congress having served for 32-years. 355-thousand ballots have yet to be counted in Riverside County. The last vote-by-mail ballots must be in the hands of election officials by November 12th. Other Inland Empire congressional incumbents with comfortable leads are Raul Ruiz, Mark Takano, Darrell Issa, Jay Obernolte, Pete Aguilar and Norma Torres who had 57% of the vote that was cast in the San Bernardino County portion of the 35th Congressional District.
