Election: In-person voters vs mail ballots spelled presidential difference SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – In-person voting at San Bernardino County’s polling places may have given Donald Trump the edge in his victory over Kamala Harris in the primarily Democratic county.
Harris claimed the majority of mail-in ballots. But, Trump got the upper hand among those who voted in-person. Although there are still thousands of uncounted ballots, it’s apparent that Republicans took the county in the presidential contest. It’s the first time that’s happened since 2004 when George W. Bush was the biggest vote-getter. In spite of Trump’s local victory, he still lost the state as Democrats flexed their muscle. Story Date: November 12, 2024
