California gasoline almost a bargain as inventories rise SOUTHLAND – In its last gasoline price report before what’s expected to be a record-breaking Thanksgiving travel period, the Automobile Club of Southern California is giving motorists a thumbs up.
Motorists in Southern California will pay less to fill up than any Thanksgiving holiday since 2020. In Riverside, the average per-gallon price is $4.32, which is 56 cents lower than a year ago. Statewide, the average for 87 octane regular is $4.44. According to Oil Price Information Service, California gasoline inventories are up for three straight weeks, but fuel production is down compared to the previous week. Story Date: December 1, 2024
