MORENO VALLEY – (INT) – The death of a 10-year-old Moreno Valley boy has escalated to the arrest of his adoptive parents on suspicion of murder.

Paramedics initially responded Thursday (November 21st) to the family’s home and found the boy in medical distress. His condition worsened and a few hours later he died at a local hospital.

An initial investigation revealed possible signs of neglect and abuse.

Sheriff’s detectives arrested Alejandra Marin, 51, and Juan Sanchez Moreno, age 59. Charges include torture, child abuse and murder.
