Inland Empire claims nation’s deadliest freeway
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – As motorists head for their Thanksgiving destinations, they are being forewarned about freeways with the biggest accident potential.

The National Safety Council found that the I-15 which runs the width of Riverside and San Bernardino counties is the deadliest in the nation. It is followed by the I-605 and the I-5 in Los Angeles County.

Researchers at TruckInfo.net also found that drunk driving was a major issue at the national level, with 33% of fatalities involving a driver over the legal limit.
