SOUTHLAND – (INT) – 2025 is opening with gasoline prices on the rise.

It’s only an average of 1-cent-a-gallon but could be a signal of things to come.

The average price for self-serve regular gasoline in California is $4.35 and in Riverside, it’s $4.29. That’s 31 cents lower than a year ago.

The Automobile Club of Southern California noted “The California gas price average for all of 2024 was $4.76 a gallon, which is the third highest annual average price ever.”
