H.O.P.E team swings into action, 42 accept help
FONTANA – (INT) – San Bernardino County’s H.O.P.E. team has offered a new life for the homeless in the Fontana area.

‘Operation Shelter Me’ has offered 45 unhoused individuals shelter, medical, and mental health treatment services. Forty-two accepted referrals to assistance programs. Nine was assisted with follow-up professional services.

The program is an extension of Laura’s Law which San Bernardino County adopted in 2023. It provides opportunities for court-ordered community treatment pathways for individuals with histories of hospitalization, incarceration, or violence.
