SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Inland Empire fire agencies are responding to the wildfire disaster in Los Angeles County.

The Riverside Fire Department (RFD) has sent crews to fight the Eaton Fire in the San Gabriel Valley. But, it says sufficient personnel remain. The department has ‘over-staffed’ additional fire apparatus in Riverside in case of potential emergencies as long as the Red Flag Warning continues.

The RFD underscored that wildfires “pose a serious risk to Riverside’s neighborhoods, particularly in Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) areas.”
