Viewpoint: Has California hit an inflection point?
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – The impact of climate change on California could be coming clearer.

The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) urges everyone from citizens to leaders, and set a course to reduce the impacts and adapt to changing conditions.

-Translate climate research
-Develop disaster scenarios
-Prepare locally and regionally
-Pursue new tools—and upgrade old ones

The message in the flames is clear: people’s lives—their homes, memories, neighborhoods, health, and well-being depend on us preparing for the future climate change “like we mean it,” researchers at the PPIC ‘think tank’ proposed.
