Rising gasoline prices take a break
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Southern California gasoline prices are pulling back after a brief spike.

In Riverside, the average per-gallon price is $4.77, which is two cents less than the previous week and 48 cents lower than a year ago. Statewide the Automobile Club reports an average of $4.92.

The Oil Price Information Service reports that despite ongoing planned and unplanned maintenance at Southern California refineries, wholesale gasoline prices have dropped substantially on news that large supplies of imported gasoline are arriving soon.
