Comparing fast food prices, avoid LA
LOS ANGELES – (INT) – When visiting Los Angeles, fast food may not be on the menu.

Lending Tree has found that Los Angeles has the 3rd-most expensive fast food in the country.

• An average fast food meal in LA costs $13.45

• Not to be outdone, San Francisco has the highest fast food prices, with an average meal costing $13.88.

• Seattle ($13.48) has the 2nd-highest fast food prices.

• The average cost of a flagship fast food meal nationwide is $11.56. This includes meals from Burger King (Whopper), Chick-fil-A (Sandwich), McDonald’s (Big Mac), Taco Bell (Crunchwrap Supreme), and Wendy’s (Dave’s Double).

• Fast food workers must work more than twice as long as the average U.S. worker to afford a meal. They need to work 46 minutes to buy a flagship meal, compared to 21.2 minutes for the average American worker.
