BIG BEAR – (INT) – Big Bear’s famed bald eagle parents ‘Jackie’ and ‘Shadow’ have spent the past three months raising their two eaglets. And, Monday they witnessed one named ‘Sunny’ leave the family’s nest for the first time. Her sister Gizmo followed on Saturday.


The organization noted that both “may return to visit the nest…Jackie and Shadow’s previous eaglets have all done that. It is all up to her at this point.”

It's a time of celebration for fans of the Big Bear eaglets.
