Will the US show the world what democracy really looks like?
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – Organizers have announced a “No Kings” protest in downtown Riverside against President Trump.

The nationwide event on Saturday, June 14th, falls on Flag Day, and a nationwide day of defiance declaring that the president is not a king.

Organizers are trained in de-escalation and say they are working closely with local partners to ensure peaceful and powerful actions nationwide. They say they share a commitment to nonviolent protest and community safety and “reject authoritarianism, billionaire-first politics, and the militarization of our democracy.”

The Riverside ‘no kings’ protest begins Saturday at 5:30pm in the 37-hundred block of University Avenue with a stage for singers, Constitution readers and the Riverside Resistance Revival Chorus.
