EDD reports IE job gains and losses ![]() INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Unemployment across the Inland Empire has slipped another one-tenth-of-a-percent, according to the latest stats from the State Employment Development Department (EDD).
May’s rate came in at 4-point-8 percent. Just over 107-thousand were considered jobless. The biggest job gains over the past 12-months were in education. Private colleges and universities shared the biggest job gains ranging up to 7-point-9 percent. Publishing industries had the biggest losses at 9-point-1 percent. Story Date: July 6, 2025
