PHELAN – (INT) –Police have scored a major fireworks bust with the seizure of 10-thousand pounds of the illegal pyrotechnics.

A traffic stop in San Bernardino led to the driver’s home in Phelan where a cache of large-scale aerial shells were seized in a shipping container along with over $5,000 in suspected fireworks sale profits and an assault-style AK-47.

Dangerous fireworks are prohibited under California law.
