INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – CalFire is tightening the noose on the Wolf Fire near Banning.

It has blackened 23-hundred-83 acres and is nearing full containment. Evacuation warnings are expected to be lifted.

In Rialto, a Sunday fire inside a landfill just north of the 210 freeway between Alder and Sierra avenues sent up clouds of smoke seen over a wide area.

Earlier in Chino, a wildfire was quickly contained in the Chino Hills State Park.

Fire agencies have yet to report on the causes of several fires over the past week.
