California hits the target for ZEV sales
SACRAMENTO – (INT) – Sales of zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) in California is expanding.
New data shows that zero-emission vehicles made up nearly 23% of new medium- and heavy-duty vehicle sales in California in 2024. That is more than double the state’s target and was the highest total of sales ever reported. Over the past 4-years more than 57-thousand ZEVs have been sold in California’s medium- and heavy-duty market. Statewide ZEV truck sales have now increased for the fourth consecutive year.
