SOUTHLAND – (INT) – After several weeks of up’s and down’s, gasoline prices may have settled down.

In Riverside, the average per-gallon price is $4.60, which is 17 cents higher than a year ago.

Statewide, it’s $4.64 while the national average is $3.15. Gas prices have barely moved over the past week.

“It’s unclear whether the upward trend for gas prices is over, because wholesale gasoline prices have risen slightly in recent days,” said Auto Club spokesperson Doug Shupe.
