Rainfall ‘year’ ends in a deficit
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Another rainfall year could be opening on the dry side.

The 2024-25 rainfall year ended Tuesday (September 30th) with some cities in the Metro Inland Empire recording only one-third to one-half of normal rainfall. Riverside got barely 4-inches over the previous 12 months, the driest since 2020-11.

Communities closest to the mountains. Such as San Bernardino and Fontana, recorded twice as much.

Higher up, Big Bear measured 55 inches of snow, still short of the average.
