RIVERSIDE – (INT) – A Riverside shooting has blossomed into a murder-for-hire investigation.

As police explain it, Horacio Montero Jr., 27, was fatally shot September 29th at an automotive shop on Orange Street.

A team of forensics specialists assumed the investigation and implicated Kenny Andrew Johnson of Riverside and Alonzo Monk Jr. of Colton. Both were arrested within three days of the slaying. Accusations include murder and conspiracy to commit murder, and are being held without bail.

Police did not explain why Johnson and Monk are suspected or offer a motive for the slaying. But, they said a woman initially reported that her boyfriend had been shot inside a trailer at the automotive shop.
