Computer models forecast seasons in transition
INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - Hurricane Priscilla off of Baja California provided some weather excitement in the Southland Thursday although somewhat muted. Dark gray clouds dropped temperatures and boosted the humidity across the Inland Empire.
Local rainfall Thursday ranged up to .32 at Lytle Creek in the San Bernardino Mountains. Most other locations were under one-tenth-of-an inch. The weekend could have something for everyone ranging from sunshine to rain. Beyond that, some dramatic changes are coming if computer models have their way. There’s a hint of beneficial amounts of rain for the middle of next week. Temperatures could get much colder, and there could even be some higher elevations getting measurable snow for the first time and the onset of the rainy season. https://radar.weather.gov/station/KSOX/standard Story Date: October 10, 2025
