SACRAMENTO – California voters will weigh in on a growing debate over about redistricting in their state.

On November 4th, voters will be asked to approve redistricting maps that were last changed after the 2020 census. The outcome could establish another five Democratic-leaning House seats in the North State, Central Valley, and Southern California.

The election could counter efforts in Texas giving Republicans the chance to take the lead in Congress.
