Autumn weather forecast to become more variable
INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - Weather changes are becoming more variable as autumn overtakes Southern California.

KEY POINTS
• Above average temperatures Friday-Monday for inland valleys and deserts. Warmest conditions expected Sunday.
• Forecasters are monitoring a system that may bring rain as early as next Wednesday, with better chances for late week.
• King Tides at the beaches through Friday with elevated surf Thursday and Friday.
Shifting weather patterns highlight Southern California’s weather in the coming days.

A warming trend will highlight the weekend. Things shift into reverse the middle to late next week with the onset of cooler, breezier, and wetter conditions. It’s the result of a developing area of low pressure off the West Coast that will move slowly east. The probability of rainfall totals exceeding 1 inch Thursday into Friday are 25 to 35 percent in the San Bernardino mountains.
