K-9’s play critical role in combatting drug trafficking
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) - Four more K-9 teams are being deployed by the California Highway Patrol including the Inland Empire.
During the first 9-months of the year, CHP K-9 teams seized nearly 7,000 pounds of methamphetamine, 5,000 pounds of cocaine, 250 pounds of heroin, 750 pounds of fentanyl and 213 firearms. The K-9’s are part of the latest graduating class, the second this year. Story Date: November 18, 2025
