SAN BERNARDINO – The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBSD) has been honored with five national achievement awards by the National Association of Counties (NACo).

The awards focused on innovative programs that enhance public safety, strengthen community partnerships, and improve efficiency.

The Sheriff’s Department was honored to receive the Best in Category for Information Technology for an Evacuation Solution.

The following programs were also recognized:

Acute Incarceration Management (AIM) Program
-Expanded Partnership with Five Keys Charter Schools
-Teen Human-Trafficking Awareness Talk (THAT)
-The Blue Envelope Program.
-Election Polling Place Interactive Maps
