Mother Nature shows ups and downs
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Southland weather is shifting gears.

The National Weather Service is calling for:

- Return of the onshore flow with a dramatic cooling trend through the weekend
- Atmospheric river overtakes SoCal Friday
- Rain could be heavy at times but total main storm is 12 to 24 hours
- Post-frontal rain showers possible into early Sunday
- Current rainfall estimates -
- Coasts/valleys 0.75 to 1 inch of rainfall
- Coastal slopes/mountains 1 to 2 inches
- Deserts 0.1-0.25 inches
- Snow levels near 6500’ by Saturday morning -
