Minor temperature fluctuations mark mid-January weather
INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - The mid-January warming trend will be winding down before temperatures reverse course again.

KEY POINTS
• Afternoon high temperatures 5 to 15 degrees above average for inland areas through Tuesday.
• Gradual cooling trend begins Wednesday

High pressure will continue to dominate the weather pattern over the next few days. This pattern warm daytime temperature high 5 to 15 degrees above average each day through Tuesday. As a low pressure system moves closer, high temperatures will sag a few degrees each day starting Wednesday into Friday.

There is less than a 15% chance of any measurable rainfall by Friday into next weekend.

Going forward, warmer and drier weather is ahead as we head into the last full week of January.
