Where are California’s most-deadly roads and freeways?
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – An analysis has confirmed what many seasoned motorists already knew that the Inland Empire has some of the most dangerous roads in California.
That’s the upshot of an analysis by car insurance marketplace iSelect. Using data recently from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Fatality Analysis Reporting System, it found fatal crashes over a five-year period were most numerous on Interstate 5. Among the eight deadliest in California were Interstates 10, 15 and the 215 and State Route 91. Each has lengthy segments through the Inland Empire. On the top 10 list of cities with the highest number of fatal incidents were San Bernardino and Riverside with a combined total of 411 deadly crashes over a 5-year period.
