Mother Nature will shift gears to springtime norms
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – A long-running spate of warm weather that has set records across Southern California this month could be winding down.

Th National Weather Service is calling for a long-term cooling trend likely starting early next week. Computer model guidance has at least some precipitation across parts of Southern California by mid-next week.

The high pressure ridge responsible for the heat starts breaking down and moving eastward this weekend. Some lower pressure troughing will replace it. But, it’s not likely to provide much precipitation but rather a more significant cool-down bringing temperatures closer to values normal for this time of early spring.
