Comparing surging gasoline prices
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Searching for the cheapest gasoline may be an effort in futility.

According to AAA, seven counties had the most expensive gas prices. Bakersfield, in Kern County, topped the list.

Riverside is at $5.84 and San Bernardino $5.86. The statewide average is $5.88 per gallon of regular gas.

As of Monday, March 30th, a gallon of regular gasoline cost about $5.88 on average, making the Golden State the most expensive state to fill up in the country, the automobile association said.
