Mother Nature maintains springtime mode
SOUTHLAND – (INT) - Skies have cleared in the wake of the first spring showers.
Inland Empire rainfall ending early Wednesday ranged up to nearly an inch at Wrightwood, and two-thirds at Ontario and Beaumont. San Bernardino came in at .59. As high pressure begins to rebuild, the longer range outlook reverts back to a prolonged dry spell. Temperatures are likely to range up to 10 degrees above normal. Dry northeast winds will kick in with gale force gusts along the coastal side of the mountain slopes and adjacent valleys. For Easter weekend, expect clear skies even as temperatures back down a few notches. The numbers will fluctuate only a few degrees under mostly clear skies. Story Date: April 2, 2026
