Eight performers join the Class of ’26 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
CLEVELAND - The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame unveiled its Class of 2026 during a live “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night” episode of "American Idol."

Eight performers were selected from a field of 17 nominees, with this year’s ballot featuring artists from rock, pop, soul and hip-hop. The class includes several first-time nominees who earned induction on their first appearance.

The Hall also announced recipients for its Early Influence, Musical Excellence and Ahmet Ertegun awards, while setting the 2026 induction ceremony for Nov. 14 in Los Angeles. The ceremony is expected to return to Cleveland in 2027.

• Sade

• Wu-Tang Clan
