Officials launch pre-election ‘logic and accuracy’ tests
RIVERSIDE - (INT) - Riverside County election officials are pledging the utmost accuracy and transparency in the voting system ahead of the June 2nd primary.

Logic and accuracy tests are being performed by the Registrar of Voters staff.

The testing will involve processing ballots containing selections for every candidate or measure, followed by the tallying of results. Officials say the tests are designed to evaluate the performance of the voting system, assuring voters that their choices will be accurately recorded, according to a statement from the Registrar of Voters office.

Earlier, Riverside County Sheriff and gubernatorial candidate Chad Bianco launched an investigation into ballots cast by Riverside County voters in the Proposition 50 statewide special election.
