SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – The 22-unit, 3-star Sunshine Motel near downtown San Bernardino has been red-tagged and closed after it was raided by police Wednesday (April 29th).

An ongoing investigation found motel employees were facilitating prostitution-related activity, police said. It was an off-shoot of a probe into prostitution, pimping and pandering, and human trafficking impacting the downtown area. Among those arrested was the motel manager.

The motel on ‘H’ Street was also deemed unsafe due to health and safety violations, police said.
