Earthquakes share similar epicenters
REDLANDS – (INT) – The third minor earthquake in as many days was felt across the Inland Empire’s Metro area Friday (May 8th).

The M3.4 temblor struck early Friday evening. Its epicenter was 2-miles deep along the San Jacinto Fault zone between Redlands and Moreno Valley near the Riverside-San Bernardino County line.

Earlier jolts occurred since May 6th in the same area. But, there has been no reported damage. Yet another M3.4 late Friday night was detected near Muscoy.

Seismologists say the quakes are not unusual as the San Jacinto Fault is the most active in Southern California.
