Norton keeps airport safe
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – San Bernardino International Airport has a safety feature not found in many travel hubs.

‘Norton’, a much-loved border collie, patrols the airfield discouraging birds and wildlife from encroaching on the airfield and away from the aircraft.

San Bernardino International Airport maintains a comprehensive Wildlife Prevention Program designed to reduce the risk of wildlife strikes and keeps the airfield safe.

The local airport began scheduled passenger service in August 2022.
