New bridge opened ahead of winter storms
MENIFEE - The Freedom Bridge at Bradley Road officially opened on Thursday, October 1.
Menifee is getting reconnected. Bradley Road crossing over Salt Creek has been reopened with completion of the newly-named Freedom Bridge. Previously, motorists have driven through moving water with each passing rainstorm. The bridge will enable faster response times for police and fire agencies. Bradley Road Bridge over Salt Creek Trail was recently renamed the Freedom Bridge by the Menifee City Council, as recommended by the City’s Veterans and Military Families Advisory Committee, to honor our veteran and military community. Freedom Bridge addresses the historic flooding that occurred during rain events and will provide reliable north/south connectivity on Bradley Road, improving safety by eliminating motorists traveling through moving water during a storm and helping ensure faster response times for first responders serving the Menifee community.
